The Brownbill Effect

Digital Identity Refresh

2024

Lead Designer

Overview

During my one-year work placement at The Brownbill Effect, I was tasked with designing a new digital identity that would better capture and reflect the brand’s voice. This involved creating a cohesive branding system, improving the website’s usability, and enhancing the brand's online presence through a refined social media campaign.

I created new icon sets, incorporated gradients into the illustrations, and also adjusted the website's UI to enhance usability and improve the overall web experience.

Brand Refresh

I was given full creative freedom to completely revamp the brand’s look and feel. This involved refreshing the color palette, introducing new icon sets, and creating a comprehensive graphic library to streamline the production of digital ads for distribution across all social platforms.

SEO Audits

One of my other goals, alongside the brand refresh, was to enhance the digital presence and visibility of The Brownbill Effect online. To achieve this, I conducted comprehensive SEO audits, implemented Google Analytics, and tracked data to optimise performance. I also revamped the website’s user interface, focusing on improving navigation and the overall user experience.

Social Media Campaigns

As a digital designer, I also recognised that the content being produced was outdated. By researching the types of content that resonate with today’s digital audience, I was able to propose a range of ideas for the 2025 social media campaigns. I’m proud to have successfully written and revamped all the campaigns for the upcoming year. I'm excited to see how the new designer will take these ideas forward and incorporate them into the brand's future strategy.
